A den meets once a month to work on badges, and the whole pack gathers once a month. Hikes, campouts and service mornings are spread across the rest of the year.

What comes around every year
Dates shift a little from year to year, but these are on the calendar every time.
- Summer hikes — Mori Point, Sibley, Angel Island
- Three pack campouts
- The Raingutter Regatta at the Sea Scout Base
- Scouting for Food, across two November Saturdays
- The Pinewood Derby and Bear Carnival
- A bonfire on Ocean Beach
- Trash the Trash — a beach cleanup
- The Blue & Gold Dinner at the Elks Lodge
- A crossing-over ceremony for scouts moving up to a troop
For a rainy Sunday
Each rank handbook is full of activities a scout can do at home, most of them earning a belt loop or a badge along the way.
